Here's my review of the limited edition Escada Summer Festival EDT! This scent is inspired by Summer Festivals.

Review of limited edition Escada Summer Festival EDT

What Escada Fragrances describes Summer Festival EDT as:

"As summer approaches, ESCADA invites all girls to immerse themselves in the spirit of an unforgettable escape with the new Limited Edition ESCADA Summer Festival Eau de Toilette.

Inspired by the idea of a tribe of girlfriends assisting to one of the biggest Summer Festivals of all times and created by the dynamic duo Amandine Clerc Marie and Gabriela Chelariu

The irresistibly fruity-floral scent of Summer Festival Limited Edition is the living memory of this journey. Opening with a sparkling accord of cherry blossom encapsulated in ice cubes, the perfume offers a joyful heart of natural green mandarin and delicate jasmine petals, while a base of sensual sandalwood ensures the festival spirit lasts all day long

Close your eyes and imagine the festival of your dreams: as fairground rides light up and music pulses through the warm air, you and your friends celebrate with iced cocktails, enjoying the heat of the sun on your shoulders and the feel of the grass under your feet. Slowly, the sky becomes a spectrum of pink and gold. As a magical night descends, you dance together amid an explosion of fireworks, your hair dressed in beautiful flower crowns." (Source Link)

In Australia, Escada Summer Festival is available exclusively at Chemist Warehouse at RRPAU79.

My Thoughts on Escada Summer Festival:

The Bottle: I love those curves. The bottle design is simple yet not so simple, with angled curves. I love how the bottle reminds me of shape of a woman, curvy and tapering off to a slimmer bottom. The silver topper makes a nice contrast to the red bottle.

The Scent: Fresh and fruity. This is a sweet scent at first go and it then starts to mature to a more mellow slightly less sweet fragrance. At first sniff I was reminded of cherries, cherry soda pop, mango ice cream and limes.

The Dry Down: It mellows down to a beautiful and delicate fruity floral. The sandalwood does not weigh this down and is slightly more pronounced.

The Tastes: Like candy and ice cream, and Cherry Ripe (a chocolate bar we have in Australia), a summer cocktail

The Colours: I see flowers, bright pinks and neon colours. Sparkling lights.

The Feelings: Very joyous! This is quite an uplifting fragrance.

The Wear Time: A good 7-8 hours.

Suggested occasions to wear this: Everyday in Summer and at Summer Festivals of course!

Overall: I enjoyed this fragrance. It was uplifting and not overly complex. A lovely fragrance for summer. I think this will appeal to those 17 years and up.
