I’ve always enjoyed Jurlique’s Herbal Recover Range and now Jurlique has taken what they know works best in their iconic Herbal Recovery formulas and enhanced them with exceptional new botanicals. Hence, I was extremely excited to try these. What first came to mind was: "How can they make a range that is already so good and effective, better??".

I have combination oily dehydrated skin. I tested the products below over a period of roughly 10 days. Generally to properly test the effectiveness of skincare products, you require a period of at least 2 - 3 months.
However, as I have used Jurlique's herbal recovery products before, I knew I could rely on their high quality and that I could expect the same good results from the products (in fact, the original herbal recovery face mist and eye serum are staples in my daily skincare routine).
I generally used these at night time in addition to my nightly routine. Using good quality skincare products at night is good because that is when you skin goes into the "regeneration' phase. I've always found that my skin seems to get the best results out of a product when used at night time, especially products that help re-plump and rejuvenate your skin.
The New range contains their signature Viola tricolor extract (which helps minimise the signs of ageing and reduces dullness) has more than tripled in dose to make the antioxidant-rich Herbal Recovery more concentrated than ever. The range includes rejuvenating Yarrow extract to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles for a smoother skin texture resulting in a more youthful appearance.
I also note that the majority of the botanical ingredients used by Jurlique are grown on Jurlique's organic South Australian Farm.

It was love at first sight when I saw the new red ombre glass packaging and the rose gold accents. Very luxe indeed and very pretty additions to any person's vanity area.

My thoughts:
I must tell you that I ADORE face mists especially Jurlique's ones. Firstly, they are so easy to apply. I'm a bit of a germaphobic so any face product that I can apply on my face without using my hands is perfect. Secondly, Jurlique's Face Mists ALWAYS smell so wonderful. Some are calming, some are refreshing and overall, just delightful. I recommend keeping them in the fridge during Spring/Summer for that perfect refresher.
Overall Thoughts
I love it and my skin loved it too. Honestly, whenever I felt stressed or overwhelmed, I would go "hand me my Jurlique mist pronto!".
As it containes lavender and rosa gallica (otherwise referred to as the "French Rose"), it smells fabulous because of the naturally derived ingredients.. It is a good "pick-me up" in the morning and helps prep your skin for other skincare products. Jurlique's face mists are one of their iconic products. I highly recommend them. My thoughts:
I have used the older version of this serum and I could see results after using it for about 2-3 weeks. This serum has a very light texture and absorbs very quickly into the skin. Exactly the type of serum I want. One immediate effect that I noticed was that my skin looked moisturised and brighter after applying this. As this product also includes lavender and rosa gallica (French Rose); it also added to a sensorial experience which was calming when I was winding down at night after a long day.
The photo above shows the light texture of the serum. If you are in store, I encourage you to do a quick test of this on your hands, you will see an immediate replumping and smoothing effect.
After my 10 day trial, I did feel like my skin looked clearer, brighter and more even toned. As I used these at night, I felt that I woke to better looking skin.

My thoughts:
When it comes to face creams, I honestly am a bit wary. Some work for me and some are too rich that I wake up with my face looking like an oil-slick. Also, whilst I do know that products that come in pots (see photo above) are generally formulated so that they are antibacterial (i.e. germaphobe me worried about sticking fingers in), products in pots are not what I would normally reach for. If the product has "super-duper" claims, I usually use a cotton tip to take the product out and then apply the product to my face. SO, I felt it was very thoughtful of Jurlique to include a little plastic spatula.
In the photo above you can see how "creamy" the face cream looks. When applied, I felt an immediate cooling sensation and the "cream" felt like a gel-cream hybrid. This cream is light and absorbs quickly (just like the serum above). I liked the texture so much that I used it all over my face (including under the eyes); neck and décolletage area. It NEVER felt too rich or thick for me, and I think that's why I enjoyed it so much. I now rotate this cream with other creams in my skincare routine. I felt that it did make my complexion more even, brighter and overall I felt my skin was well moisturised. It also has a similar scent as the Mist and Serum, naturally derived from the ingredients.
